1) What the App is

Mythborne is a multiplayer narrative RPG app where players create characters, join campaigns, submit story intents, and view story scenes and updates.

2) Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following:

A. Account & identity

• Account identifiers you provide (for example: username and/or email)
• Authentication/session tokens required to keep you signed in

B. Gameplay content you create

• Character details (e.g., name, race/class, profile details)
• Campaign participation and membership details
• Your submitted intents, drafts, and other in-game text inputs
• Story and scene data necessary to run the campaign

C. Device & technical data

• Device identifiers (such as a device ID used to uniquely identify your client)
• Basic device/app information (app version, OS version, device model)
• Network data required for connectivity (such as IP address at time of connection)
• Diagnostics and error logs (e.g., crash reports) to help identify bugs

We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information. Please avoid entering real-world sensitive details into story text or character fields.

• Provide and operate the App (login, campaign join, syncing characters/campaigns)
• Deliver multiplayer functionality (real-time updates, resolving scenes)
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Debug issues, improve performance, and fix crashes

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only as needed to operate the service, such as:

If you participate in a campaign, some gameplay information (such as character summaries and intent status) may be visible to other members of that campaign as part of normal gameplay.

• As reasonably necessary for backup, security, and troubleshooting

If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize account-associated data unless we must retain it for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Children’s privacy

Mythborne is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Depending on where our servers and service providers operate, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect data wherever it is processed.
